Our Bank does not sell your information.
For more than 100 years, customers
have trusted us with their personal and financial information. Whether
you are a current or former customer, our practices are the same. Our commitment
to conduct business honestly and with your best interests at heart continues
with our Privacy Policy.
Definitions:
Nonpublic personal information means
information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial
product or service to you.
Non public personal information does not include
information that is available from public sources such as telephone directories
or government records. Hereafter, we will use the term “information” to
mean nonpublic personal information as defined in this section.

is a company we own or control or with whom we share common ownership.
A nonaffiliated third party is a person we do not employ or a company
that is not an affiliate of ours. This is also known as nonaffiliated third
party, or simply, an “other party”.

We
do NOT disclose any information about you to anyone, except as permitted
by law. Examples of this might include disclosures necessary to service
your account or prevent unauthorized transactions.

We restrict access to information
about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide
products or services to you. We have physical security at our building,
passwords to protect data, compliance reviews, and virus detection software.
INFORMATION ABOUT FORMER CUSTOMERS
We do not disclose information about
former customers, except as permitted by law.

This
Bank collects the following categories of nonpublic personal information
about our consumer customers: Information received from you on applications
and other forms, information about transactions (such as information about
a deposit, loan, or credit card account), and consumer reports.
CONFIDENTIALITY
AND SECURITY OF NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION
This Bank maintains the
following policies and practices designed to protect the confidentiality
and security of consumers’ nonpublic personal information: Ensuring your
financial privacy is of vital importance to us. We limit employee access
to confidential customer financial information to those employees with
a business reason for knowing such information. Our employees are trained
to understand the importance of customer financial privacy and to properly
handle confidential information.
It is our policy that customer information
is not to be provided to anyone over the telephone. We require that all
credit information requests be in writing on the company’s letterhead.
In certain instances we will require you the customer to also sign such
requests.
This Bank endeavors to maintain the most accurate and up-to-date
customer records possible. If you find that your account information is
not correct, current, or complete, please call, or write to us at the telephone
number or address on your account statement and appropriate corrections
will be made as soon as possible.
If you feel we have not met our obligations
in the protection or use of your personal information, you may submit a
complaint to us. Any complaint will be handled in compliance with the Bank’s
Consumer Complaints Policy. Breaches of customer privacy are considered
serious employee misconduct and may result in termination of the employee.
DISCLOSURES TO AFFILIATES OR NONAFFILIATED THIRD PARTIES
This Bank does
not disclose, and does not intend to disclose, nonpublic information about
our customers or former customers to affiliates or non affiliated third
parties except as permitted by law.
OPT OUT OF DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
AMONG AFFILIATES
This Bank shares certain personal information about you
with companies, which are affiliated with this bank by common control.
Specifically, Bowden Insurance Agency. We share information as permitted
by law in order to provide you with better services and more options. This
shared information includes what we receive from consumer reports and applications
for financial products or services such as your income and social security
number and other information contained in credit reports.
This information
may be used to determine whether you qualify for other types of services
and products before a solicitation is made.
You may limit the disclosure
of your personal information by notifying us that you do not want your
personal information shared with entities affiliated with the Bank. This
